I'm In ASIA!!

UPDATE:

Name: Sae Bi Di!

We made it ok, FINALLY!! Base camp was amazing!!! I feel like everyone should go through base camp!! Father taught us so much! It really prepared our hearts for our trip. We left on Tuesday morning at 6am and arrived in Bangkok at 9pm on Wednesday. (you try and figure out that time change because I still am unsure how that happens. haha.) We stayed the night in Bangkok and left out this morning (Thursday) for our destination!!

We are finally here and it is so beautiful!!!! We are staying with the M and they are wonderful. We had a home cooked meal tonight and our getting a home cooked breakfast in the morning. We are doing some orientation time with the M and some language training with them before we set off for our journey on Sunday.

PR for strength! It is extremely HOT!! This dry heat west Texas girl is not used to 100% humidity!!
Also PR that we are totally focused on Father, the landscape here is a bit of a distraction. Just watch Forrest Gump and the parts that are in Vietnam is exactly what it looks like!

Our guest home for the first few days is right on the River! It is so awesome!!

Also we have 3 Texas Big 12 schools represented on my team. A&M, UT, and of course TEXAS TECH!! haha! but they are both terrible fans of their school and we all know what kind of fan I am of mine!!

I dont have much time, but I love you all sooooooo much!!!!

Love,

Katy

Sae Bi Di :)
(hello and good bye)

  1. So glad you are there safe. We will continue to throw a lot of PR your way for strength and endurance. Oh, way to represent the Red Raiders in your group...ha.

I bet the scenery is amazing, even though there is that strange moisture in the air called 'humidity.'

We love ya, and will continue to throw PR your way!
